Victor Hugo was born on Feb 26 - A French Author who led the romantic movement in French Literature. His writings reveal his love of liberty, his sense of justice and his sympathy with the suffering of ordinary people. Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Miserables rank among the most popular fiction written. Hugo penned down his love for his daughter in one of his lyrical poetry book 'Contemplations'.
To write a poem, I guess its 'Believing in Oneself' and Things you can do. I knew not how to write a poem until I tried and yeah, penned down a few; also nominated and got printed in Voicesnet Anthology of Poetry Book and in print newspapers! This reminds me of these words on a card, often that I gaze, in front of my desk:
Believe in yourself, In the power you have to control your own life, day by day
Believe in the strength that you have deep inside and your faith will help you show the way.
Believe in tomorrow and what it will bring, Let a hopeful heart carry you through,
For things will work out if you trust and believe
There's no limit to what you can do!
Whatever special challenges you face along life's way,
May you trust that you will always find the Best in Every Day!

"If you always continue to do what you have always done, you will always get what you've always got". Billi Lim
This is the phrase of the first 'Guru of Failure', a Motivational speaker and Malaysian Author Billi P.S. Lim. He has created the tallest Book Tower, 20 metres, as a tribute to outgoing Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad. Recently, Lim came to India and talked about failures as he see wisdom in failures.
Now, think and ponder! Failures do make us better persons. There goes a saying that sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. Actually, it should be re-written 'Sometimes we win, sometimes we learn' . The simple reason I believe is that we all learn from our mistakes, our failures - Our success takes us to peak but this comes hard as we pass through trials and when we fail, we always learn. Isn't this so very true? Kids struggle over the school lessons, at sports field, in music and are apt to fail. So are many people who fail in business, in love, in life - All one got to figure out is how to reach a winning edge and often it happens, failures turn out to be the best 'successful' people.
